This is a fully customizable FVC Exclusive Tour. You and your group will work with a Family Vacation Club agent to specify the details of your itinerary, but a sample is as follows: Spend 3 days in South Africa, exploring Cape Town and the region around it: Visit Boulders Beach, a beautiful sandy beach that is also the home to over 3,000 protected African Black footed penguins; hike or ride the cable car up Table Mountain; and take a day trip into the wine lands of South Africa with an expert guide, who can show you both the popular iconic estates, as well as the lesser-visited farms only known to locals in this area. On your way into Namibia--where you'll spend the next 10 days exploring-- take a canoe excursion along the Orange River at the South Africa and Namibia border (adventurous travelers might want to spend a night camping here along the banks of this river oasis), then enjoy an evening with new friends, exchanging stories, and learning more about the local culture over a delicious, traditional South African braai. Namibia is a stunning geographically diverse country with so many unique opportunities to explore. From the largest canyon in Africa to the towering red sand dunes of Sossusvlei, to sweeping coastal cities and of course-- the safaris!-- you'll have a hard time narrowing all your options down. Go hiking, sand boarding, skydiving, take a scenic flight or guided cultural tour, learn traditional dances, or take cooking classes... there are endless possibilities to choose from. In Botswana spend up to 5 days immersing in the culture of the San Bushmen tribe, as well as others, as you travel across the Okavango Delta. Before you make your way into Zimbabwe, enjoy a visit into Chobe National Park to meet the largest elephant population in Southern Africa; and for an extra special experience-- make sure you book a sunset cruise here to meet some of the parks other magnificent residents: like crocodiles and hippos! Zimbabwe is the last stop on this tour-- home to the epic Victoria Falls. We recommend some whitewater rafting, a scenic helicopter flight, bungee jumping, or swimming up close in personal with these powerful waterfalls.
